How quickly can you respond to an emergency tree situation?
Our emergency response time for urgent situations in The Dalles, OR is typically 1 to 3 hours. For life-safety emergencies where a tree is on a structure or blocking access, we prioritize these calls and dispatch a crew immediately, any time of day or night.
Will you work with my homeowners insurance for storm damage?
Yes, we have extensive experience working alongside insurance companies in The Dalles, OR. We can provide detailed documentation, photos, and formal estimates in the format required by your insurer, and we're available to speak with adjusters directly if needed to support your claim.
What is the best time of year for tree pruning in The Dalles, OR?
Late winter to early spring is generally ideal for most trees in The Dalles, OR, as pruning during dormancy minimizes stress and reduces risk of pest and disease. However, dead, damaged, or hazardous branches should be pruned as soon as they're identified, regardless of season. Our arborists will advise you on the best timing for your specific trees.
Can a diseased tree be saved, or does it need to be removed?
Many diseased trees can be treated and preserved with the right arboricultural care, including fungicide applications, pruning of affected areas, soil management, and fertilization. However, when a disease has progressed too far or poses a risk to surrounding trees, removal may be the responsible choice. Our ISA-certified arborists in The Dalles, OR will give you an honest assessment.
Do you offer affordable estimates for all services?
Yes, we provide completely affordable, no-obligation written estimates for every service we offer in The Dalles, OR. We visit your property, assess the scope of work, and provide you with a detailed quote before any commitment is required. There are never any fees for estimates.
How do you protect my lawn and garden during tree removal?
We take great care to protect your landscape during every job. This includes laying plywood or mats over grass for equipment access, using precise rigging techniques to direct falling debris away from garden beds and structures, and performing a thorough cleanup afterward. We are mindful of your property throughout the entire process.
What happens to the wood and debris after tree removal?
All debris is chipped and hauled away at no extra cost unless you specifically request to keep wood for firewood or want mulch left on site. We can also arrange to leave clean cut rounds if needed. Our process is entirely transparent, and we'll discuss your preferences before starting the job.
